You pick an item — say, a T-shirt or a dress — and see how it looks on models of different body types, skin tones, and heights. But here’s the key part — it’s not just pasted-on images.     Let’s jump to South Korea and look at the life simulation game inZOI from Krafton — the same company behind PUBG. It’s not just another “life sim.” It’s a full-on virtual world where players can create characters, interiors, even whole cities. But the way fashion is handled here is particularly interesting.

    In inZOI, you can design clothes from scratch — mixing fabrics, colors, and styles — and then try them on your characters. And not just on generic NPCs, but on virtual versions of real-life celebrities. Imagine designing an outfit and seeing how it looks on a digital version of Jungkook from BTS or your favorite K-drama actress.

    This feature is especially popular with fashion enthusiasts, designers, and K-pop fans. People create entire clothing collections, share them on social media, and sometimes these virtual looks inspire real-world brands. In other words, inZOI is more than just a game — it’s a platform for creative self-expression.

    What Do Google and inZOI Have in Common?

    At first glance, they seem like totally different things: one is for shopping, the other is a game. But look closer, and the core idea is the same — virtual try-on, personalization, and control over how you look. Both Google and inZOI use technology to bring digital fashion closer to reality. Google does it for shopping, and inZOI does it for entertainment and creativity.

    Both platforms let people experiment with their appearance without leaving the couch. Want to see if a bold jacket or a new style suits you? Go ahead. In both systems, it just takes a few clicks.

    Another key point — the role of AI. Google’s neural network learns from millions of images to understand how clothes look on different bodies. In inZOI, a similar system recognizes movement, body types, and style, and adapts outfits accordingly.

    We can confidently say: toward the merging of the real and virtual worlds. Fashion brands are already collaborating with gaming platforms to create virtual collections that later become real-life products. Online shopping is turning into an interactive experience where you don’t just buy an item — you live a little story with it.

    It’s very likely that in the coming years, Google, Amazon, Meta, and gaming companies like Krafton will team up. And then we might get a full platform where you can:

    • Instantly order the real thing

    Google and inZOI aren’t competitors — they’re part of a bigger shift where tech, fashion, and games merge into one. One focuses on practicality, the other on creativity. But both teach us the same thing: in the future, anyone can be a stylist, designer, and model — right from home.

    And yes, shopping might finally stop being stressful. It could even become… a fun game.

    There is, however, one caveat: according to psychologists, everything that moves online tends to contribute to a person becoming more withdrawn. But to be honest, for introverts, it’s actually ideal.
